In our Focal Scripture, God proclaimed that the walls of Jericho would fall down flat at the blast of the trumpet. The walls of Jericho were not going to fall in bits or in batches. They were to fall at once. This was a wall that was about two meters thick and eight meters high, according to bible history: everything fell at once. It didn’t need a special process to fall. They fell at the same time. It was one expectation that was fulfilled at the same time.
Friend, what is that thing that should have taken a long time to materialize? As surely as the Lord lives, it shall come your way in one swoop. Everything will happen at the same time. The opposition against you shall crumble at the same time. All your doors and gates shall be opened at the same time. All your results will besiege you at the same time. Your congratulations will come at once. Your celebrations will come back to back.
What you thought would take time will happen earlier than expected. Your expectations are coming ahead of time. What you thought will come next year will come before this year ends. What you thought you would wait for in years will come your way in mere weeks and months. As the walls of Jericho fell flat, speedily and with unusual ease, so shall your expectations happen faster than ever imagined or expected.
Stop postponing your expectations. The same God who made the expectations of Joshua to happen at the same time will make your own expectations to come at the same time. The same God who caused the walls to fall at once will cause your portion to come at once. God is causing your doors to open at once. God is causing your good news to break forth at the same time. God is causing your helpers to arrive at the same time.
Your expectations will not fall to the ground. God is about to do exceedingly, abundantly, more than you could ever ask or think.
