Our Focal Scripture gives some insight into the reason Jesus had in mind whilst raising Lazarus from the dead. While speaking to God, Jesus made mention of the people who were standing by. There were people watching to see what would become of the Lazarus whom Jesus loved. There were people waiting to see how negatively Lazarus’ story would end. There were spectators waiting to carry the story of Lazarus’ end.
Friend, guess what? There are people waiting to tell the tales of how you failed; there are people waiting to become talebearers of the news of your rejection, delays, disappointments, reduction in destiny, etc; there are people hanging around, waiting for the conclusion of your story so that they can tell the world that your God finally failed you despite your expectations; there are people waiting to see if Jesus would respond or not.
Jesus was well aware of the onlookers, and He did a miracle that would get them talking. While they waited for the final bad news, they got mega good news. Those that are waiting to tell negative tales about you will provoke God to cause mighty wonders to happen for you. As they gather their facts for gossip, God will interrupt them by spinning mighty miracles that will make them delete all they have documented against you.
Go and announce to all the haters that won’t let you rest, that God will not rest until He gives them tales of joy and gladness to spread concerning you. Go and tell those who say you are finished that because of them, Jesus has elected to do mighty wonders just to make them understand that you are not finished. You just might need to thank some haters, because they are about to trigger unsolicited divine intervention in your life.
When Jehovah is involved, even the hatred of haters becomes His reason to do miracles you did not ask for. Get set: mighty wonders are on the way to you!
