Broken Protocols

1st April 2020

Scripture Reading: Luke 17: 11-19

Focus

“And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.” (Luke 17: 14)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus told the ten lepers to go and show themselves to the priest. In Bible times, meeting the priest was the final stage of being declared free of leprosy. The ten lepers didn’t go through all the other stages; they only went straight to the last stage. Jesus skipped processes and protocols for them. Jesus made things shorter for them. Jesus made life easier for them. Jesus broke protocols for the lepers.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: protocols will be broken for you; processes will be skipped for your sake; what took others time will not take time for you; what took others years will take you mere weeks or months; what took a long time for others to accomplish will not take time in your own case; what was delayed for others will be fast tracked for you; stages that others went through will be skipped for your sake.

Get set: in this year of thrones and crowns, you will take new cities without going through what others went through; you will accomplish your goals without going through what others went through; you will break forth into new realms without facing the difficulties that others faced; you will attain new heights without experiencing the pitfalls that others faced; you will see what others faced being skipped for you.

When Jehovah is involved, journeys are shortened; when Jehovah is involved, difficult things are made easy; when Jehovah is involved, the steps that others took are set aside to make things easier for you; when Jehovah is involved, your journey to the top is shortened; when God is for you, what would have taken time will only take grace.

Ask God to break protocols and shorten processes for you; ask God to make your journey to the top easier and faster.

Declaration

My journey to the top shall be easier and faster, in Jesus’ name!

In our Focal Scripture, the prodigal son judged himself unworthy of remaining a son to his father. He wanted to move from sonship to servanthood.
