Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when God Himself told Ezekiel to prophesy upon the dry bones. All that Ezekiel had seen prior to our Focal Scripture, were the dry bones and how that they were very many. He had witnessed the negativity in the valley of dry bones, and God then commanded him to prophesy. God commanded Ezekiel to call forth what was yet to happen. God commanded Ezekiel to speak forth the new.
Friend, I am aware that you have seen what you are already surrounded with; you may already have a clear description of the negativity you are faced with; but it’s time to speak forth the new. Call forth the new. Call forth what you are yet to see. Start speaking of that which God is yet to do. Start prophesying to your dry bones. Start speaking to your areas of dryness. Start calling forth your new season with your proclamations.
It may have been okay for Ezekiel to keep speaking about the dry bones he saw, but the solution he required was not going to come from speaking about the problem. No matter how convenient it is to speak about the troubles around you, always remember that solutions will not come simply by speaking about the problems. Solutions will come when you call them forth. Solutions will come when you prophesy solutions into existence.
There may be a bandwagon of people around you who have mastered the art of describing their own valley of dry bones, but you might need to break out from amongst them and start prophesying to your dry bones. Start speaking forth what you want to see. Start speaking your future into existence. Start commanding your greatness to come forth. Start proclaiming the end of your affliction. Start saying what God would have you say.
The restoration of the dry bones began with the prophetic proclamations of Ezekiel. Proclaim the word of the Lord to your dry bones and they will come back to life.
