Scripture Reading: Mark 4: 35-41

Focus

“And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.” (Mark 4: 36)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus got into the ship that would take Him to the other side, and other little ships followed. Jesus saw the option of ships at the shore, and He left the little ships and went for the bigger ones. Notice that Jesus was not alone; He had disciples travelling with Him; He was not choosing a bigger ship for the sake of it; He chose a bigger ship because there were more persons to carry. The extra capacity was because of people who needed to be carried alongside Jesus.

Friend, one major reason why you must grow your capacity and become more, is that there are people who need to be carried in your destiny ship. There are miracles that need to happen through you for some people. There are destinies that need to transit to their new season through you. There are mighty works that need to be made manifest through your life. There are people whose location in destiny needs to change through you. There are people you need to carry across.

When God looks at the ship that your life represents, He doesn’t just see you alone. He sees the lives tied to you. He sees the people whose lives you are meant to transform. He sees the people whose life stories He wants to rewrite through you. He sees the mighty displays He wants to make happen through you. He sees the glory He wants to put on display through you. God is counting on you to carry men to their other side.

More than ever before, be intentional to grow the capacity that will position you for more impact and exploits in destiny. Be intentional to discover the destiny roles you must play in order to carry men to their place in destiny. Be intentional to discover the place that God has made for you in the scheme of heaven. Be intentional to discover the destiny mandate that heaven has for you and run with it. Dare to recognize your destiny passengers.

When your life here on earth is over, if you were destined to be a ship, it would matter to God that you carried those He endowed you with capacity to carry.

Declaration

I opt for more capacity; I will not leave my destiny passengers stranded, in Jesus’ name!
