Change Of Story

13th September 2019

Scripture Reading: Acts 27: 41-44, 28: 1-6

“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” (Acts 28: 6)

When the barbarians waited for Paul to get swollen or fall down suddenly, they saw that their expectations were not coming to pass, and they had no option but to change their minds and say that he was a god. These same people were already telling themselves that Paul was about to be a victim of the viper; they had negative expectations of him, but when they saw that nothing happened to him, they changed their minds.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your results will cause men to change their minds. Your results will cause men to change their negative conclusions about you; those that predicted that you will soon go down will see your results, and they will eat their words; those that predicted that your survival will be short-lived will see you blazing in glory, and they will change their minds. Your barbarians will change their minds.

The same men who had earlier called Paul a murderer turned around and called him a god. They moved from mocking him to celebrating him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the same people who have mocked you or are mocking you right now will turn around to celebrate you; they may have called you desolate, poor, rejected, etc, but they will soon change their minds by reason of the evidence that God will make manifest in your life.

Your season of being mocked is over. Henceforth, you shall have amazing results that will rewrite your story and change the perception of men about you. Henceforth, God Himself will grant you miracles and testimonies that will cause men to think highly and fondly of you. God will cause the stain of negativity to be wiped away for good. God will cause even your haters to change their minds based on what they will see in you.

Get set: for every negative expectation or assessment that anyone has ever had concerning you, God will give you results that will make them change their minds.

My results will cause the naysayers of my destiny to change their minds, in Jesus’ name!

Memory Verse

“1. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.” (Psalm 126: 1-2)
