Rahab was described in the earlier verses of our Scripture Reading, as a harlot. Notice that when the spies from Israel showed up, she took them in and hid them from the attacks of the men in Jericho. She once offered sexual activity to men; but at some point, she met the men from Israel and decided to offer something different. A time came in her life when she realized that what she offered was not good enough, and she changed her offer.
Friend, a time comes in the life of a destiny minded person, when there must be a change in what is being offered. A time comes when your productivity level must be increased. A time comes when the mediocrity that sufficed in time past will no longer suffice. A time comes when the negative patterns and habits that once seemed permissible should no longer be on offer. A times comes when you must increase your offer.
In this season, increase your prayer offer. Increase your competence offer. Increase your capacity. Increase your value and result profile. Change and improve the quality of what you offer in the market place. Change the quality of results you bring forth to your generation. Go beyond what you have always done and dare to do better than you have ever done. Dare to do better than you did yesterday. Dare to do better.
Rahab came to the brink of a better life, and she put aside the garment of the past. She realized that it was time to do better, and she discerned that it was time to do things differently. Dare to discern when what used to be good enough is no longer good enough. Dare to discern when what helped you succeed will no longer make room for success. Dare to discern when you need to change your approach to your destiny opportunities.
Remember, Rahab changed her offer, and she got a better offer from the spies that came from Israel. Change your offer and God will open the doors for your new season to be unveiled. Improve your offer and heaven will improve your position in life.
