Death Of The Little

22nd March 2022

Scripture Reading: Mark 5: 21-34

Focus

“And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”

When Jairus came to Jesus, he complained that his little daughter was at the point of death. This was not a daughter that had grown and accomplished anything; it was a case of a daughter that was still in her early years. Jairus’ daughter was an evidence of his marriage; she was the result of his marriage. So the enemy came to steal a result that was still at its early stage. The enemy came to ensure that a budding result stopped on the way.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the results in your life will not stop on the way. Whatsoever the Lord has begun in your life will not be terminated prematurely by the enemy. Whatsoever doors that have opened to you will not be shut prematurely. Everything in your life that is coming up that the enemy wants to destroy, I command fire to answer. Any power that destroys your evidence when it is little, I command it to get out by fire.

Today, I pray for you: every attack against your little, every plot of the enemy to stifle your little, any plan of the enemy to cause your little to stop on the way, every plan of the enemy to cause your little to die prematurely, let fire answer. Let the hand of the Lord be stretched out against every enemy of your destiny that wants the little things in your life that are coming up to expire prematurely. Let the fire of God stop the stoppers of your little successes, little openings, etc.

Jairus was a parent, and contrary to the preferred norm of being buried by his child, he was going to be alive to bury his own little child. Jairus was about to bury a child that had not even risen in life. Today, I pray for you: it will never be said that you were alive to bury your own children. It will never be said that you watched your children rise and fall. It will never be said that under your watch, your children died without becoming.

The days of death of your little things are over. Nothing under your watch that is still budding, will die.

Declaration

Memory Verse

“There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.” (Isaiah 65: 20)
