Our Focal Scripture speaks of when Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, and decreed that the sickness was not unto death. Apparently, the sickness that Lazarus was down with was one that could lead to his death; the sickness of Lazarus had the capacity to end his life. Jesus simply affirmed that the expected negative outcome of Lazarus’ condition will not happen. Put differently, Jesus meant, “same process, different results”.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your process may be same as that of others, but your results will be different. That expected negative outcome will not come your way; that failure that should ordinarily come your way based on current circumstances will not happen; that obscurity that should be your lot because of your location will not happen; your results will be different from the results of others; your case will be different.
In that career where others did not rise high enough, your results shall be different; in that same business where others have not been as successful as expected, your results shall be better and different; in the same economy where others have not been able to achieve much, your results shall be better than that of others; in the same place where others were rejected, you will be accepted. Your results will be different.
Your results shall not be by the predictions of men; your results shall not follow any pattern that is not of God; your results shall make news for the right reasons; your results shall defy all processes and policies that want you to be empty handed; your results shall not be confined; your results will rise above previous limits. You may be so close to some negative outcomes, but God says, what you are afraid of will not happen.
Celebrate the God who is able to produce different results from the same processes that should produce pain. If God be for you, your results shall be different.
