Divine Addition

13th February 2021

Scripture Reading: Judges 4: 1-10

Focus

“And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.” (Judges 4: 4)

Our Focal Scripture begins with “And Deborah…”. Like we earlier observed, the word ‘and’ is used as a conjunction. The word ‘and’ is often used when there is something to add. So when it seemed that the affliction of the children of Israel was going to be the end of story, God caused an addition to show forth in the person of Deborah. God added Deborah to the equation, and she dealt with the enemies of Israel squarely.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: there is about to be a divine addition to your destiny. God is about to add new helpers to your life. God is about to add opportunities to your destiny. God is about to add new testimonies that sound like lies to your life this year. God is set to add to your finances. God is set to add favour to your endeavour. God is set to add everything that pertains to life and godliness to your destiny.

God was not about to just end negativity and leave it at that. He added Deborah, a prophetess, to the equation. God seemed to be in a hurry to make all things as beautiful as He wanted. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your life is about to be made beautiful by virtue of what the Lord is set to add. Your life is about to take a turn for the better. Your life is about to be a dumpsite for divine releases. God is set to make you an example of one whose life has received divine additions.

Today, I pray for you: may you be known as that one that received divine addition. May you be known as that one whose family has been added to. May you be known as that one whose ministry has been added to. May you be known as that one whose capacity and capabilities have been added to. May you be known as that one whose miracles have been added to. May you be known as one whom God remembered for addition.

Your story is not about to end as men expect. Expect your divine addition.
