Scripture Reading: Acts 3: 1-11

Focus

“And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.” (Acts 3: 11)

It is important to observe that when the miracle of the lame man at the temple happened, it became a basis for Peter to preach Jesus to the people. In the end, about five thousand men turned to Jesus in one swoop (see Acts 4 vs. 4). The miracle of the lame man turned multitudes to Jesus. People who may have refused the gospel eventually believed because they saw with their eyes how the lame man rose to his feet and walked. So the life of that lame man preached the gospel to many.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your life will preach the gospel to many. People will see the hand of God at work in your life, and they will turn to God. People will see the manifestation of the power of God at work in you, and they will have faith like never before. People will see the tangible evidence of your walk with God, and they will seek to follow Jesus. God will grant you a miracle that will turn men to Him. God will grant you a miracle that will cause multitudes to believe in Him.

The same people who may not have believed in the words of Peter in Acts 2, heard another word that was backed up by the evidence they saw in the life of the lame man, and they believed. Hear me as I hear the Lord: those who have struggled to believe that God is good will see His works in your life and believe. You will be the example of one in whom the works of God are greatly manifest and evident. You will be the example of one whom God selected for goodness and mercy.

No longer shall your life be used to demonstrate the wickedness of the devil. No longer shall men use you as an example of one whose worship of God has not yielded results. No longer will your life validate the narrative that there is no gain being in Jesus. No longer shall people mock you as one in whose life they cannot see the evidence of the hand of God.

Henceforth, your life will preach the gospel. Your achievements will preach the gospel. Your miracles and testimonies will be so massive that men will turn to God.
