Scripture Reading: Luke 2: 1-40

Focus

“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.” (Luke 2: 20)

In our Focal Scripture, the shepherds returned from seeing Mary and her child, and they glorified and praised God for what they had heard and seen. The shepherds did not only hear from the Angel; they also saw what they heard with their own eyes. They witnessed a fulfillment of the word of the Lord. They saw God’s promise become a reality before their very eyes; what they heard with their ears, they also saw with their eyes.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every word of the Lord spoken over your life shall become your reality. You will not only hear of what the Lord will do but you will see it happen; you will not only hear of the prophecies but you will see the fulfillment; you will not only hear of the open doors coming your way but you will see them; you will not only hear of the promises of God but you will see it. You will see what the Lord has said to you.

After the shepherds heard the word of the Lord through the Angel, they went to Bethlehem in haste, and they saw Mary, Joseph and Jesus lying in a manger. They word of the Lord they heard was speedily fulfilled. Hear me as I hear the Lord: as you transit from 2018 to 2019, the word of the Lord concerning you will be speedily fulfilled. The fulfillment of the word of the Lord concerning you will no longer be delayed.

No longer will you be counted among those who only hear the word of the Lord but never see the fulfillment. No longer will it be said that the word of the Lord spoken over your life did not come to pass. No longer will your life be a mockery of the word of the Lord spoken concerning you. No longer will it be said that prophecies came forth and were never fulfilled.

The same God who caused the shepherds to see what they heard will cause you to see whatever you have heard from God.

Declaration
