Divine Provision

19th July 2019

Scripture Reading: Luke 8: 22-25

“Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.” (Luke 8: 22)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Jesus went into a ship in His quest to go over to the other side. Jesus did not need to search for a ship when He got to the sea; a ship was already waiting and all He did was to step into it. That ship was the vehicle He needed to cross over to the other side; it was a resource He needed for His next level movement, and it was waiting for Him before He arrived. Divine Provision was waiting for Jesus.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: before you get there, divine provision will be waiting for you. Before you get to your next destiny stop, what you are waiting for will be waiting for you. Before you get set to fulfill your next plan, divine provision will be waiting for you; divine provision will be waiting as you start that project; divine provision will be waiting as you draw up your plans and visions; divine provisions will go ahead of you.

Jesus did not need to go around asking for who will give Him a ship. He just got to where He needed a ship, and a ship was waiting. He didn’t need to be embarrassed before provision showed up. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be embarrassed as you seek divine provision. You will not come to the point where you need resources and you can’t find it; you won’t come to a point where your needs won’t be met.

The same grace that worked for Jesus and gave Him what He needed ahead of time will give you what you need ahead of time. You will get opportunities ahead of time and ahead of others; you will get what you need ahead of time; doors will be opened to you before you arrive; good news will be waiting for you before you show up; divine provision will run ahead of you and wait for you in places where you need it.

Get set for your divine provision; and get set to have it ahead of time.

Divine provision will be waiting for me ahead of time, in Jesus’ name!
