Divine Speed

25th October 2019

Scripture Reading: 1 Kings 18: 40-46

Focus

“And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.” (1 Kings 18: 45)

When the rain that Elijah prophesied about began to fall, Ahab rode and went to Jezreel; Elijah also ran on foot and even arrived Jezreel ahead of Ahab. So that blessing brought about fast movement both for Elijah and for Ahab. It was a blessing that increased the speed of both Ahab and Elijah. It was a blessing that brought out Elijah’s capacity to run; it was a blessing that eliminated slow movement; it was a blessing that brought speed.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God is about to release to you that blessing that will bring speed. God is sending you helpers that will enable you accomplish your goals with speed; God is sending you resources and finances that will enable you to hit your targets and achieve your plans and programs with speed; God is sending you opportunities that will ensure that your life is no longer on the slow lane; you are receiving that blessing that compels and commands speed in a man’s life.

That rain fell in Israel, and even Prophet Elijah had no option than to run faster than he ever did in all his life. One blessing came, and speed began to manifest. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, your life shall be called a tale of speed. You shall have results with speed; you shall accomplish goals with speed; you shall make progress with speed; you shall gain new grounds with speed; you shall advance to higher levels with speed.

It may have been a slow journey to Mount Carmel, but the return journey was a journey of speed. You may have become accustomed to your regular, slow movements in destiny, but get ready: this new season will grant you speed like never before; this new season will move you forward faster than you have ever moved; this new season will be called your season of divine speed.

Ask God to bring you that blessing that generates speed in a man’s life; ask God for that blessing that will empower you to move with speed.
