As the multitude got closer to Jesus, He began asking His disciples where they could buy bread. The multitude began following Jesus because of the miracle He did on the sick; they had no idea about the bread He would eventually give them; feeding was not their prayer point. While they were still far off, Jesus began making arrangements on how to surprise them. Jesus held conversations on how to feed them all.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: there may be things you have not even prayed about, but you are about to have them as a divine surprise. God is holding conversations right now in heaven on how to make you smile and celebrate; God is about to make new things happen which you did not plan for or expect; Jesus is about to give you a miracle you are not expecting; Jesus is about to give you what you didn’t pray for.
That multitude would have been hungry after the long journey they had been through, Jesus knew, and He made arrangements on how to feed them even before they arrived. Jesus saw their need, and without them making a request, He made provision. God is making provision for your areas of need. God has seen the doors that need to be opened to you, and He will kick them open. God will supply your needs miraculously.
Did you notice that this miracle took place close to the time of Passover? There was an expected feast (of Passover); but Jesus gave this multitude an unexpected feast. Get set for unexpected feasts; get set for miracles that will shock and surprise you; get set for breakthroughs that will make a mess of whatever breakthrough you ever received in time past; get set for the unexpected release of divine resources in your favour.
If God be for you, then expect your unexpected miracles that sound like lies. If God be for you, get set for your divine surprise.
