DIVINELY ACCELERATED

1st November 2023

Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 1: 32-49

Focus

“The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:” (1 Kings 1: 33)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when David commanded that Solomon should ride on his mule and be taken to Gihon to be anointed as king. A mule is the hybrid offspring of a male donkey and a female horse. A mule is ordinarily a fast animal. So David did not just want Solomon to move to Gihon; he wanted the movement to be fast. He wanted the movement of Solomon to be treated with speed and urgency.

Friend, I pray for you: may the Lord increase your speed. May God grant you speed that will help you overtake your contemporaries. May God grant you speed to attain greater heights earlier than expected. May God grant you speedy accomplishments. May God give you speed that will overturn the counsel of the wicked. May God grant you speed that will put you on the throne faster than your rivals and competitors.

Notice that Adonijah had already proclaimed himself king before David announced the enthronement of Solomon. Adonijah was already celebrating, and that celebration needed to end speedily. I pray for you: may speed be released to your destiny. May your expectations be fulfilled with speed. May major doors and gates open to you with speed. May your rising happen speedily. May your congratulations come speedily.

As others take one step, yours shall be called a case of multiple steps. Even if others are moving slowly by reason of the environment, your own movement and rising will be with speed. Receive divine acceleration. Receive divine speed. The days of slow movement have ended. The days of crawling in destiny, have ended. The days of moving at the same pace as everyone, are over. The days of delayed movements, are over.

Welcome to your new season of speedy movements. Welcome to your new season of divine acceleration.

Declaration

I am divinely accelerated; I move with speed; my results come speedily, in Jesus’ name!
