Divinely Announced

30th May 2022

Scripture Reading: Matthew 10: 5-6, 15: 22-28

Focus

“And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.” (Matthew 15: 22)

It is instructive to observe that Jesus was not based in Tyre and Sidon, He lived within the nation of Israel, but in our Focal Scripture, He was approached for help by a woman who lived in the territory of Tyre and Sidon. Jesus was yet to make impact outside of Israel, but the impact He already made had announced Him to people who were yet to meet Him. The works of God in the life of Jesus, announced Him beyond his territory.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will be divinely announced before this month ends. The works of God in your life will be so manifest all your life that it will announce you to people in other territories. God will announce you to the nations. God will grant you miracles that will make you the talk of town. God will turn things around so dramatically that anyone who sees it will know that God Himself has remembered you.

You may have tried to announce yourself by yourself, but get set: in this season, God Himself will announce you. In this season, the people you are looking for, will come looking for you. In places you are yet to enter into, God will raise men who need what you have. People you are yet to meet will seek you out and favour you. God will put you in the hearts of those who should remember you. God will announce you in high places.

Jesus was announced ahead of time in Tyre and Sidon, and when He showed up there, He healed a young girl who was under the torment of the devil. The divine announcement of Jesus led Him to fulfill divine agenda. When God announces a man, it is for the purpose of fulfilling divine agenda. God is not announcing you so that you can oppress others. He is not announcing you so that you can beat your chest and take His glory to yourself.

Welcome to your season of divine announcement. You will be announced beyond your borders.
