DIVINELY GIFTED

23rd Oct 2023

Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 1: 32-49

Focus

“And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.” (1 Kings 1: 32)

Before Solomon emerged as king, David summoned some of his men, and got them to play key roles that enabled Solomon to rise. One of the men that David summoned, was Nathan. The name ‘Nathan’ means ‘Jehovah has given’. So one platform upon which the kingship of Solomon was predicated, was the gift of God. Solomon did not fight to get the throne of Israel; he simply got it as a gift. His enthronement was a gift.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your rising is coming as a gift. Your thrones and crowns will come to you as a gift. The new season that God is about to unveil for you will come to you as a gift. The very reasons why men will celebrate and congratulate you, will come to you as a gift. The same way Solomon was not aware of the conversations that led to his kingship, you may not be aware, but conversations will trigger your kingship.

Today, I pray for you: may the Lord release that gift that will position you higher. May the Lord release that gift that will silence your mockers and adversaries. May God release to you that gift that will answer many questions in your life. May the Lord release that gift that will position you for more. May the Lord release to you that gift that will make your life better. May the Lord release to you that gift that will take you to the throne.

When the gift of kingship came to Solomon, he was no longer vulnerable. When the gift of kingship came, there was no more reason for Solomon and his mother to fear. When the gift of kingship came, Solomon was promoted to another level. When the gift of kingship came, the opposition against Solomon was silenced. I pray for you: may the Lord give you that gift that will turn things around. May you receive that gift that will lift you.

Welcome to that season where heaven will release gifts upon your life. Welcome to that season where God will raise men that will usher in the gifts of thrones and crowns into your life.

Declaration
