Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the Cherethites and Pelethites who accompanied Solomon on his way to Gihon to be anointed as king. The Cherethites and Pelethites were royal bodyguards. So Solomon was given royal bodyguards on his way to the throne. He was given protection on his way to the throne. He was not vulnerable as he marched to his high places. He was protected as he moved to the place of coronation.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will be divinely protected on your way to your high places. You will be maximally protected as you rise higher and higher. You will not be cut short as you move towards your thrones and crowns. You will be maximally defended as you advance towards your higher levels. You will not be vulnerable in the hands of your enemies. You will not be brought down before you arrive at your throne.
Solomon already had a contender who wanted to take the throne. He had a rival and a competitor, who had some military support, and David ordered that Solomon be given maximum protection so that his rising will not be scuttled. Hear me as I hear the Lord: by reason of the divine protection that is made available to you, your rising will not be scuttled. Your life will not be cut short as you move towards your higher levels.
Every power that specializes in reducing men in the season of their rising, I decree, they will not prevail over you. Conspiracies that stand in the way of great men who have thrones to occupy, I decree, you will not be a victim. You will not be cut short as you make your transition from your current level to your next level. You will not be cut short as you move forward. You will not be cut short as you rise higher. You will not go down.
God’s will for you is to take you higher, and no demon of hell can bring you down. Do well to also note, that any man who must rise to the throne has enemies and should be high on divine protection.
