In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist proclaimed that the Shepherd restores his soul. The word ‘restore’ as used in that scripture comes from the Hebrew word ‘shalam’. One of the meanings of ‘shalam’ is ‘to secure’. So after speaking of how the Shepherd brings him to green pastures and still waters, the psalmist spoke of how the Lord secures him. What the Lord did for him was capped with divine security. He was divinely secure.
Friend, as the second half of 2023 begins, I decree, everything that the Lord has done in your life is secure. Your good news is secure. The works of the Lord in your life are secure. The doors and gates that God has opened for you are secure. Your blessings are secure. Your children are secure. As others lose what is theirs, yours shall be secure. Your career is secure; your business is secure; divine security is your portion.
There may be huge predictions of insecurity; but it will not come your way. It may happen around you but it will not happen to you. Everyone may have tales of losses and destiny reduction, but yours shall be a tale of divine security. Everything that the Lord has put in your hands shall be divinely secure. The enemy will not steal from you. What is yours will not enter into the hands of the enemy. Your portion is divinely secure.
Today, I decree, your health is secure; your job is secure; your future is secure; your favours are secure; your opportunities are secure; your family is secure; your appointment is secure; your tomorrow is secure; every aspect of your life is secure; you are divinely secure; things may go wrong around you but you are secure; there may be insecurity, but you will be secure. You will not cry bitter tears; you will be secure.
God will shield you on all sides. No matter what happens around you, the forces of heaven will keep you secure.
