In our Focal Scripture, the woman of Canaan addressed Jesus as the son of David. She was based in Canaan, where Jesus was not known that much. She was in an environment where people could even be forgiven for not knowing Jesus. Notice that she called Jesus the son of David. She addressed Him by His Messianic profile. She would have kept clinging to information about Jesus, and that connection gradually brought her closer to Jesus.
Friend, keep making a strong connection with Jesus. The more you get closer to Jesus, the more you are opening the doors of the supernatural to bring in your expectations. The more you connect with Jesus, the more you encounter Him and dig deeper into the depths that are in Him. The more you seek to know Jesus, the more your expectations will become your reality. The more you know Him, the stronger your connection to Him, and the closer He comes to where you are.
The woman of Canaan was not originally qualified to get Jesus’ attention; she was not in the list of those whom Jesus should attend to, but she kept knowing Jesus despite not being in Jesus’ locale, and the doors of the supernatural were opened to her. The more you encounter Jesus, the more the gates of your destiny will be opened to the good news you desire. The more you get intimate with Jesus, the more you rise higher.
That voice that tells you not to bother with your walk with God, is simply telling you to get disconnected from the same things you are praying for. If you continue to play down on your walk with God, you may end up shutting some doors that you would rather have open. If you are not making moves to strengthen your walk with God and get more intimate with Jesus, you just might be disqualifying yourself from new season breakthroughs.
In all your getting, get more intimate with Jesus. Dare to know Him more than you have ever done, and you will be on your way to a new season of supernatural breakthroughs.
