Evil Instigators

9th February 2022

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 1-20

“And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.” (Matthew 14: 8)

Our Focal Scripture reveals that Herod laid hold on John the Baptist and imprisoned him, for the sake of Herodias. Herod was afraid to kill John because the people saw John as a Prophet. He probably would have stopped at imprisoning John, but it was Herodias who played the game behind the scenes to ensure that John died before his time. Herodias instigated the death of John from behind the scenes.

Friend, any person operating behind the scenes to orchestrate evil against you, let the fire of God answer the person. Any man who is turning the hearts of your helpers against you, I command their voices to cease from their lips. Every evil voice that is de-marketing you in your career, business, ministry, academics, etc., I silence them by fire. Every silent operator that wants to instigate people against you for no reason, let fire answer.

John the Baptist had an issue with the relationship between Herod and Herodias, and for that reason, Herodias got a young girl to dance before Herod and ask for the head of John in return. For the sake of a small matter, Herodias schemed and positioned people in order to orchestrate the death of John the Baptist. Any man that is plotting to instigate crisis against you, and incite evil against you, let the fire of God answer.

Today, I decree, receive men who will cause good things to come your way. Receive men who will speak on your behalf. Receive the gift of men who will cause you to be favoured. Receive the gift of men who will cause men that matter to come looking for you. Receive the gift of men who will position you on a higher level. Receive the gift of men who will cause your good news to come earlier than expected. Receive the gift of helpful men.

The days when men would successfully instigate evil against you, are over.

Every lying tongue that is instigating evil against me, shut up by fire, in Jesus’ name!
