Our Focal Scripture speaks of the king’s chamberlains who conspired against the king. Bigthana and Teresh were keepers of the door, but they eventually conspired against the king. They were the ones who opened and closed doors for the king, but they sought to cut short the destiny of the king. They opened earthly doors for Ahasuerus, but they sought to shut the doors of his destiny abruptly and prematurely.
Friend, I pray for you: may the Lord expose every evil man around you that wants to cut short your destiny. May God expose and remove every evil plotter that is secretly shortchanging and sabotaging you; may the Lord reveal every satanic plotter around you that is openly opening doors for you but secretly shutting the doors of your destiny; may the Lord reveal every one who appears to be working for you but actually working against you.
Ahasuerus may have employed Bigthana and Teresh to provide services for his benefit, but they ended up providing services for his downfall. They seemed to be in his favour, they probably saluted him in the morning, but turned against him where his eyes could not see. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every man that is smiling with you in the open but sabotaging you in the secret, let the light of God expose them and uproot them from your destiny.
Ahasuerus would have seen Bigthana and Teresh as people who could work for him, indeed they would have worked for him for a while, and then turned against him. May the Lord open your eyes to see the men who are with you but have turned against you or are plotting to turn against you in future; may the Lord cause you to discern between those who want your progress and those who want nothing but your downfall and extinction.
Never again will you be a victim of wicked men from close quarters; never again will your destiny doors be closed abruptly by those who are working against you from within your inner circle.
