Fight Your Battles

14th January 2020

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 10: 1-7

Focus

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?” (1 Samuel 10: 1)

The anointing of Saul was for the purpose of becoming the captain of the Lord’s inheritance. Captains are majorly responsible for attacking. In bible times, one major reason for attacking was in order to have more; enemy forces were attacked; attacks were meant to help the expansion of the attacker and the depletion of the enemies of the attacker. So Saul was to lead the mission of attacking the enemies of Israel and ensuring increase.

Friend, in 2020, arise and attack every attacker against your destiny. Arise and attack every opposition that wants to reduce you; arise against the forces of darkness that want to promote satanic agenda against you; arise in prayers and prophetic warfare against the messengers of hell that want to keep you at the same level from year to year; arise against the enemy forces that want to keep you away from your throne and crown.

Today, I join you in prayers: every satanic plot, every conspiracy of the wicked, every disease, every hurdle, every hindrance, etc that the enemy has laid on your pathway, I attack them by fire; every lack of favour, I attack it by fire; every rising and falling, I attack by fire; every repeated negativity, I attack by fire; every demonic invasion of your territory, I attack by fire; every unseen hand working evil against you, I attack by fire.

There are more grounds to conquer; there are more territories to take; there are more achievements waiting on your path; there are more heights for you to attain, and it is unacceptable to have the enemies of your destiny stop you from being all that God would have you be. God has anointed you to bruise the head of the serpent; God has anointed you to attack the forces of darkness; God has made you a captain to win wars.

Step out in faith, and fight your battles to a standstill. Fight the forces of darkness until they get the signal that you are the wrong person for them to attack. Fight, and defeat the enemy.
