It is important to note that the wall of Jericho was fortified, according to bible history. It was not your regular wall that one could push down with bare hands. It was not the sort of modern day walls that floods could bring down. It was a fortified wall, intended to ensure that anyone that was outside the city, remained outside. So what Joshua was dealing with, was a fortified negativity. He was dealing with fortified opposition.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every fortified opposition that is standing against your progress, I command it to go down by fire. Every fortified conspiracy that is intended to stop you from stepping into higher realms and better opportunities, I command it to go down by fire. Every gathering of men who have come together and joined forces to ensure that you do not rise, I command them to be scattered.
Whatever arrangement has been made to ensure that you do not rise, I command it to scatter now. Whatever messenger from the pit of hell that says you will not enter into the portion that heaven reserved for you, I command them to go down by fire. Every satanic fortification that was designed to hold you to the same spot, I command it to scatter by fire. Every enchantment that wants to limit you, I nullify it now.
If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you belong to that generation that cannot be held to ransom by the walls of Jericho. If Jesus has redeemed you, then you belong to that class that will not be held back by the forces of hell and of darkness. Say no to every satanic fortification around you. Stand against every siege of the enemy even if it is not directly against you. Make it a priority that every satanic wall around you goes down.
Arise in warfare against the gates of hell and ensure that they do not prevail.
