In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist announced that the Lord anoints his head with oil, causing his cup to overflow. There was an overflow in the life of the psalmist, and it was orchestrated by the oil that was put on his head by the Lord. The psalmist did not just stumble into an overflow; he did not labour his way into an overflow; he became the carrier of an overflow by reason of the oil that the Lord put on his head.
Friend, I pray for you: receive the oil that will position you for an overflow. Receive the anointing that will cause your cup to overflow; receive the anointing that will cause what is in your hands to multiply; receive the anointing that will cause your results to go beyond your calculations and expectations; receive the divine empowerment that will cause you to have an overflow beyond even your capacity. Receive the oil for overflow.
What the Lord put on the head of the psalmist caused what was around the psalmist to multiply. The oil on his head led to an overflow around him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the oil on your head will breed an overflow around you. The oil on your head will cause an increase in your business, vocation, ministry, career, family, finances, etc. The oil on your head will cause your barns to overflow. The oil on your head will trigger increase.
It is an error to have the oil of God on your head but lack increase around you. It is an error for God to pour His oil on you and you fail to witness an overflow. As surely as the Lord lives, the days of your overflow have begun. By reason of the oil on your head, you are moving from little to many; you are moving from ‘not enough’ to ‘more than enough’. Your hitherto unfruitful places are becoming fruitful. Your dry places are yielding increase.
Welcome to your overflow season. Welcome to your season of more. Welcome to your season of divine increase.
