Samuel told Saul about two men whom he would find beside Rachel’s sepulcher. Those two men had the good news of the recovery of Saul’s father’s asses, and Saul was going to meet them at Rachel’s sepulcher. Rachel was the mother of Benjamin, which was Saul’s tribe. So at the same place that should have been a monument of pain for the tribe of Benjamin, good news came forth for Saul. Good news came from a pain center.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: good news is coming forth from the same places where you suffered pain. Good news is coming forth from the same places where you suffered losses in time past. Good news is coming out of the same places where you were disappointed in time past. Good news is coming forth from the same places where you were rejected and disgraced in the past. Your monuments of pain are becoming signposts of joy and gladness.
The same place where Rachel was buried was going to become a location of Saul’s good news. The same place that buried and worked against a past generation worked in the favour of Saul. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the same places that worked against your past generations will work in your favour. You will be accepted in the same places where men said no to those ahead of you. What worked against your fathers will work for you.
Whatever negative history you have is about to be turned into a new signpost of good news that sound like lies. God is about to turn around the tales of pain from the past, and they will become tales of good news and increase. God is about to turn around the misfortunes of the past into mega testimonies that will shock everyone that hears it. God is about to turn your sepulchers of pain into monuments of joy.
Ask God to turn your signposts of past pain into harbingers of future joy. Ask God to reverse whatsoever that worked against those ahead of you.
