Unexpected Thrones

From The Normal

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 30: 1-20

Focus

“And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.” (1 Samuel 30: 7)

In our Focal Scripture, David demanded that the ephod be brought to him. An ephod was like an apron worn by priests each time they wanted to access heaven. So what Abiathar wore as a dress was what David used to gain access to heaven’s answers. What was normal to Abiathar was a passcode for David to get divine information. What was normal for Abiathar saved a generation in bondage. Abiathar wore divine access like a dress.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will wear divine access like a garment. You will be called that one through whom divine intervention is sure to show up. You will be called that one through whom the difficult matters around your generation will receive divine attention. You will be called that one through whom the distressed, disillusioned, afflicted people around you will get a new lease of life. You will wear divine access like a robe.

The ephod was normal to Abiathar; it was a normal thing to him, but it became the access of David into divine revelation. What was normal to Abiathar became the harbinger of something new for David and his men. Hear me as I hear the Lord: what is normal to you will become harbingers of good news and increase in your life. What you have always done with no strings attached will give you access into higher realms.

The ephod was ordinary to Abiathar, but through that ephod, David enquired from the Lord and got answers. What he had always worn led to the solution that came to a generation. As surely as the Lord lives, your normal efforts will soon yield you outstanding results. What is normal to you will open new doors for you. What you have always done will cause new things to come forth in your direction.

Get set for a new season where the normal will become an access for your generation. Get set to see the outstanding come forth from the normal.
