Scripture Reading: Judges 6: 1-14

Focus

“And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.” (Judges 6: 11)

In our Focal Scripture, an angel appeared to Gideon and sat under an oak tree that belonged to his father. That oak tree was ordinary, but the angel of the Lord chose it to be his place of manifestation. The angel chose an ordinary place in order to cause the supernatural to manifest. In a place that Gideon would have called ordinary, an extraordinary manifestation showed up. From the ordinary came forth the special.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in your ordinary places, there will be a divine manifestation. From your ordinary prayers, something special and supernatural will show up. From the same places where they said no to you, something better is coming forth. From the same places where you failed before, you are getting a better result. From the same places where you got regular results, you will get irregular miracles.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: the supernatural is about to appear to your normal places. The power of God is about to become evident in your career, business, ministry, academics, etc. The power of God is about to find expression in the works of your hands. The power of God is about to become the trademark of your successes. As the year gradually ends, the power of God is about to set you apart for a glorious finish that others will envy.

When Jehovah is involved, regular steps birth extraordinary results. When Jehovah is involved, regular efforts yield supernatural results. If God be for you, what you have called regular will turn around and yield unbelievable results that will sound like lies. In this season, your little will give rise to many. Your regular is about to bring forth uncommon results. Your normal harvest is about to be replaced with mega harvest.

Ask God to show up under your ‘oak tree’. Ask God to invade your ordinary with the extraordinary.

Declaration

From my ordinary places, the extraordinary shall emerge, in Jesus’ name!

Memory Verse

“For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.” (Isaiah 51: 3)
