Our Focal Scripture speaks of how David summoned three men prior to the enthronement of Solomon as king. One of the men he summoned was Benaiah. The name ‘Benaiah’ is interpreted to mean ‘Yahweh builds’. So for Solomon to become king, there was need for Yahweh to build. What was going to come to Solomon as a gift required that Yahweh build. Solomon’s throne and crown needed Yahweh to build.
Friend, whatsoever God brings, God builds. Whatever God causes to come your way is an indication for God to build. Whatever heaven causes to come your way is an indication that God needs to build something new in you. Whatever God makes happen for you is a call for Him to build something new in you. Every throne and crown that God causes to come your way is a call for God to build your inner man, abilities, etc.
Notice that Benaiah does not mean ‘Yahweh built’. It means ‘Yahweh builds’, which is in present tense. So God is never going to stop building something new in you. People will not show up and see you at the same level they last saw you. God will continue to build new things for you. God is still building for you and in you. What you see in your family, career, ministry, business, etc. is not the last of what the Lord is building in your life.
On an instructive note, make yourself available for heaven to build in you and for you. Allow God to build your character. Allow God to build in your inner man. Allow God to build new abilities and ideas in you. Allow God to build in His current agenda into you. Allow yourself to be malleable in the hands of God as He builds. No matter the thrones that come your way, remember that you still need God to build again and again.
Always remember that even if God already built yesterday, there is something new He wants to build in your new season. The last thing that God built in you is not the last He wants to build. Ask God to keep building in you and for you.
