Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Samuel took a horn of oil and anointed David. Horns of oil were usually taken from animals that had horns. Notice that Saul was anointed with oil from a flask of oil (see 1 Samuel 10). Saul was anointed from a man-made flask, but when it was David’s turn, he was anointed from a horn that God made by Himself. Whilst the anointing of Saul had the hand of man, David’s anointing had the hand of God in it.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your anointing has the hand of God in it. You have been divinely empowered for your new season and next level. The hand of the Lord is upon you. The hand of the Lord is upon the works of your hands. The hand of the Lord is the orchestrator of your rising and greatness. The hand of the Lord will make a way for you. The hand of the Lord will consolidate your place at the top.
David’s anointing as king had the hand of the Lord written all over it, and in a matter of time, he went on to become a famous and feared king of Israel. David was so famous that at some point, he didn’t need to fight for Israel because he already had valiant men who were loyal to his throne. I pray for you: by the hand of the Lord, you will be established in your high places. By the hand of the Lord, your greatness will never be diminished.
Those who are plotting against you should get ready to fight with the hand of the Lord which is stretched forth in your favour. Those who are opposing your greatness should be prepared to fight with what God put in place. Men may be able to tamper with what was made by mere mortals, but no man can successfully tamper with what was made by the hand of God; and if God be for you, no scheme of man can thwart your rising.
In all your rising, ensure that the hand of the Lord is involved; and if the hand of the Lord be involved, your greatness will not expire.
