The three women who went to anoint Jesus’ body walked into the sepulcher, and met an angel who told them that Jesus had risen from the grave. They went to a grave to see a dead body, but they got good news instead. They went to the place of death and decay, and they got positive information that was to make them smile and celebrate. In a most unlikely place, good news came forth to them.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: good news is arising unto you from unlikely sources. God is sending you good news that will arise from places you least expected; good news is coming from the quarters you never imagined; good news is being made manifest to you from the places and people you didn’t expect it from; favours you didn’t plan for shall come to you through the sepulchers of this world.
For those three women, they may have mourned at that sepulcher on the day that Jesus was buried, they may have planned to shed more tears as they came to anoint His body, but they arrived, and instead of tears, it was good news that should orchestrate a celebration. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in places where you once cried and mourned, good news shall arise, celebrations will arise, and congratulations shall arise.
God turned the table by Himself, and what should have produced bad news brought forth good news. Get set: God is turning the tables in your favour; God is causing you to be favoured in places where you were once rejected; God is causing you to be made relevant in places where you lacked relevance in time past; God is causing the tides that were against you to turn around and work in your favour and for your benefit.
Ask God to send you good news from unlikely places; ask God to cause your places of bad news to become harbingers of good news.
