Grow Your Capacity

22nd February 2021

Scripture Reading: Matthew 14: 1-20

Focus

“But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.” (Matthew 14: 16)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus said to His disciples, “They need not depart; give ye them to eat”. The disciples wanted to push the multitude away, they wanted the situation to go away, but Jesus declined, and ordered them to deal with the situation. They seemed to be in a hurry to send the multitude away, but for Jesus, it was an opportunity to manifest the power of God. For Jesus, it was a call for the blessing and capacity He had in Him.

Friend, whatever situation you are currently facing is a call for the manifestation of the blessing upon your life. The doors that are shut against you are not necessarily an indication for you to walk away; they are indications for you to make a demand for heaven to open your doors. The challenges on your way have not come to urge you to stop; they are simply asking for the power of God at work within you to be made manifest.

Jesus already had the capacity to feed the multitude, He already had the capacity to turn around the situation in the desert, so there was no need to send the multitude away. Jesus was not going to avoid a challenge He had capacity to deal with. Build capacity before the challenges of life expose your emptiness. Grow stronger before the troubles of 2022 expose how weak you are. Grow your capacity before challenges reduce you.

Jesus asked His disciples to feed the multitude, because He had the capacity to make it happen. He had the capacity to take their little and cause it to become many. He had the capacity to use whatever the disciples had, to make all the difference. Jesus has what it takes to use your little to make the difference. Jesus has what it takes to use your efforts to bring forth mega results. Jesus has what it takes to transform your capacity into results.

When life throws challenges at you, respond with your capacity, and with the blessing of God upon your life. If God be for you, that challenge will become an occasion for divine manifestation.

Declaration
