Grow Your Positives

2nd August 2019

Scripture Reading: Exodus 2: 1-10

Focus

“And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.” (Exodus 2: 1)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of a man from the house of Levi, who also took a wife who was a daughter of Levi. Levites were God’s property in Old Testament times; God was their inheritance; they were a separated and consecrated people; they spent their lives in the service of the temple; they were virtuous people. So one virtuous man took to himself a virtuous woman, and a great destiny (Moses) was birthed.

Friend, if you desire true greatness, then grow the positives in your life. Grow in the place of consistency and dedication; increase your efforts; increase your desire for uncommon results; increase your tenacity and grow your positive energy; increase your appetite for greatness and exploits; increase your drive for excellence and relevance; do more than others are doing; even if you have already attained some positives, take them a notch higher.

Whatever you do that is deemed positive, now is the time to take it higher. Take your efficiency higher; take your commitment to duty to a higher level; take your assignments more seriously; approach your vision and mission with a lot more verve and tenacity; get more focused; get more result driven; add more positives to your positives; add more to whatever you are already doing right; add more to your good.

When virtues increase, excellence is benchmarked; when positives are multiplied, uncommon greatness is birthed; and when men of like, positive mind-sets come together, a unique seed is released in their generation. Don’t be less when you can be more; don’t do less when you can do more; don’t make the mistake of reducing what you should even increase.

Your next level of greatness is in need of a virtue or a positive that you can increase. Dare to be more; dare to grow your positives.
