Scripture Reading: Acts 3: 1-11

Focus

: “And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.” (Acts 3: 11)

In our Focal Scripture, the lame man that was healed, held on to Peter and John. He held on to the people through whom he received his miracle. He held on to the people by whose prayers and proclamation his story changed for good. That man moved from lameness to full movement, and he understood that there were people who took him through the process. He didn’t abandon the process that moved him forward.

Friend, glean some wisdom: don’t walk away from the process that brought you forward. Don’t do away with relationships that made you better. Don’t abandon that walk with God that caused you to receive miracles you didn’t plan for. Don’t throw away the values that positioned you in your high places. Don’t make the mistake of imagining that you no longer need your ‘Peter and John’ simply because you can now walk.

That man received a miracle, and he was also interested in staying connected to the atmosphere that birthed his miracle. Beyond receiving what you desire from the Lord, be careful and intentional to remain connected to the atmosphere of your miracle. Stay connected to the environment that birthed your next level. Stay in touch with that competence that has made you the preferred amongst the multitude.

Wise men are careful not to disconnect from their source. Wise men know that their resource may run out, but can always be replenished when they stay connected to the source. Wise men understand that no matter the gift they have received, it must never be said that they walked away from the giver. Wise men understand that it is important to get to their next level, but even more important to stay connected to what brought them there.

Stay connected to your source. Stay connected to what brought you thus far. Stay connected to your Giver. Stay connected to God.

Declaration

I stay connected to what brought me thus far, in Jesus’ name!
