It is instructive to observe that the enemies that were trying to take down Samson were not operating from afar. They were operating from within the confines of his own residence at that time. Lords of the Philistines came to Delilah to engage in transactions and conversations on how to take down Samson. The traps he was grappling with were generated from close quarters. The battles he was fighting came from his household.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every household enemy that is undermining your success and progress, let the Lord expose and destroy. Every person within your personal space that is divulging information that will be used to orchestrate your downfall, I command them to be exposed and destroyed. Every one that is pretending to be a friend that is in an alliance with the enemies of your destiny, let them be exposed and destroyed. Let your friendly fowlers be exposed.
Samson was in love with the very woman who was making arrangements for his destruction. He lived with someone who was ensuring that his greatness will be cut short. Today, I pass a decree: anyone that is posing as a lover but working behind you as a hater, let the fire of God smoke them out and take them down. Everyone you have accommodated that is working against you secretly, let the fire of God answer them in their wickedness.
Delilah posed as a lover, but Samson had no idea that behind the beautiful face was a plot to destroy him. She came like a lover, but she was connected to the men who desperately wanted Samson to go down. May the Lord open your eyes to see the ‘Delilahs’ that are speaking with the men that want you down. May the Lord open your eyes to see the leaks in your systems. May the Lord show you the Delilah that is undermining you.
No longer shall you be a victim of household enemies. No longer shall you fall into traps that came from close quarters.
