In our Focal Scripture, the psalmist affirmed that the Lord had delivered him from the violent man. The violent man that David referred to in this scripture, was Saul. Notice that the only reason why Saul was able to do all the wrong things he executed against David, was because he was the king. He had a position and he used it against David. He used his physical position to work against a heritage that God had given to David.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every man that is using his position to hinder your rising, let the hand of the Lord knock him out. Let the Lord arise against every leader that is using his official powers against you. Let the Lord arise against every man who is using his high placement against you. Let the Lord arise and crush every man who is using his privileges to hinder your greatness. Let the Lord arise against every throne that is against you.
Saul was king, and he got his soldiers to join and work against David. He skewed systems against a man who had done nothing against him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every system that has been positioned against you to unleash wickedness against you, let the hand of the Lord scatter that system. Let the Lord arise against every group that is working to stop your emergence. Let the Lord arise against every office that is working against you.
Today, I pray for you: may the kings of this world begin to work for you. May the systems of this world begin to work in your favour. May offices you are yet to enter into begin to work in your favour. May the corridors of power align to work in your favour. May policies be made in your favour. May pronouncements be made in your favour. May systems and structures be specially positioned to work in your favour.
Welcome to that season where kings and men in authority will not use their positions against you. Welcome to that season where systems and structures will be deployed to work in your favour.
