It Is Waiting

5th February 2020

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6: 1-7

Focus

“1. And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. 2. Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.” (2 Kings 6: 1, 2)

When the sons of the prophets under Elisha’s tutelage decided to build a bigger place, it was not difficult for them to zero in on Jordan as the place where they would find wood for their project. They had a plan, they had a project to execute, and they found an opportunity in Jordan to get what they needed. Their vision was blessed with the opportunity for provision. They easily found what they needed in Jordan.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2020, your vision will be blessed with resources. Your potentials shall be blessed with opportunities; your plans shall be met with divine provision; you will easily find what you need; you will easily locate opportunities for your next level; you will easily find platforms for your greatness to find expression; you will not lack opportunity when you need it; the doors shall be open when you need it.

Those sons of the prophets needed to build, and the wood they needed was already available in Jordan. Divine provision was waiting even before their need arose. Hear me as I hear the Lord: divine provisions will be waiting before you show up. What you need will be available before the need arises; the opportunities you need will come early; the resources for your next level will wait for you before you are even ready to rise.

As those sons of the prophets went to Jordan, nobody stood in their way, and nobody contended with them for the wood they came to take. As surely as the Lord lives, there shall be no contention for the divine resources and opportunities that God has made available for you. As surely as Jehovah lives, what the Lord has given you to possess will not be taken by others.

Step out and take possession of what the Lord has made available to you. Step out and take charge of your divine resources and opportunities.

Declaration

In 2020, what I need will be waiting for me ahead of time, in Jesus’ name!

NO REDUCTION

In our Focal Scripture, the prodigal son judged himself unworthy of remaining a son to his father. He wanted to move from sonship to servanthood.
