In our Focal Scripture, God told Zechariah that Zerubbabel will bring forth the headstone with shoutings of grace. A headstone was the uppermost stone in a building in Bible times; bringing forth the headstone symbolized the completion or end of a project. So God was simply saying that the end of the project which Zerubbabel was about to embark upon, would come with shoutings and celebrations. It was going to end in praise.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the end shall come with shoutings and celebrations. The issues of your life shall end in praise; the projects you have embarked upon shall end in praise; the chapters of your life that may be currently stormy shall end in laughter and celebrations; the issues of your life that seemed poised against you will still end in your favour; the end of your vision will be laughter and celebration.
The vision that God gave to Zerubbabel may have had its inherent challenges, but in the end, shoutings of joy and dances of mega celebration were to take the center stage. It was not a mission or vision that was to end in pain or doom. Hear me as I hear the Lord: that journey that the Lord has set out for you will end in your favour. Your story will not end in pain, shame, disgrace or disappointment. Your end shall not be in mockery.
The enemy will not have the last laugh; those that think you will not make it will not have the last laugh; those that predicted your downfall will not have the last laugh; those that have been wishing you evil will not have the last laugh; those that want you to go down will not have the last laugh; those that gave you no chance to succeed will not have the last laugh; those that have set traps on your pathway will not have the last laugh.
As surely as the Lord lives, you will bring forth your ‘headstone’ with shouts of grace and dances of celebrations.
