It’s A Beginning

23rd May 2020

Scripture Reading: John 2: 1-11

Focus

“This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” (John 2: 11)

Our Focal Scripture puts Jesus’ miracle at that marriage feast in proper perspective; it was called the beginning of miracles. It was the first in the long list of miracles that would eventually come through Jesus. It was the harbinger of more miracles. It was an announcement of what was yet to come. It was a mere tip of the iceberg. That couple in Cana may have been excited for their miracle, but it was just the beginning of more to come.

Friend, I’m aware that you may have received some miracles already, and today, God has asked me to tell you that what you have received is simply a beginning. That breakthrough you are celebrating is simply a beginning of more to come. That open door is a harbinger of more and more open doors. The favour you have received is an announcement for more favour ahead. Today’s resources are simply inviting more resources.

Get set: whatever you have received from the Lord, there is more on the way. There are more opportunities, more breakthroughs, more healings, more divine interventions, more divine releases, more miraculous supplies, etc. God did not start with you so that you can stop on the way. God cannot start with you and abandon His role to someone else to complete. There is something new in God’s kitty each new day, for you.

The Jesus that we serve is not a Jesus that does a thing and does nothing more. When Jesus shows up, He shows up even greater again. When Jesus opens a door, be sure that He will open greater doors in a matter of time; when Jesus makes a miracle happen, be sure that a bigger miracle is underway; when Jesus shows off His power, be sure that a bigger show is on the way. The manifestation of Jesus is ever ascending.

Ask God for more; ask God to show up again; ask God to do more than He did before; ask God to make new things happen for you; ask God to turn your destiny around for good.

Declaration

I receive more; greater miracles are on the way for me, in Jesus’ name!
