It’s Coming Back

12th August 2019

Scripture Reading: Exodus 2: 1-10

Focus

“And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it.” (Exodus 2: 9)

When Pharaoh’s daughter saw the baby Moses and showed him compassion, Moses’ sister offered to get a nurse from among the Hebrew women to help Pharaoh’s daughter nurse the child. In the end, that nurse turned out to be Moses’ mother. So Moses’ mother got paid to nurse her own son whom she had cast into the river out of fear for Pharaoh. She was paid to nurse her own son. The son she cast in the river came back to her.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever you think you have lost is coming back to you. Whatever you cast in the rivers of this life, thinking that they are lost for good, just get set: they are coming back to you; the opportunities you lost are coming back to you; the treasures you lost are coming back to you; the greatness you lost is coming back to you; the influence and relevance you lost is coming back to you.

Moses’ mother may have lost hope in her son’s case, but the same son came back to her, with the special pay package she wouldn’t have had if she didn’t lose him. So her son was restored to her with some compensation. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you shall have restoration with compensation. What you lost is coming back with an added bonus; what you lost is coming back on a higher level; what you lost is coming with interests.

You serve a God who does not give you back the much you lost; God gives you back with compensation. God gives you back with additions. God gives back in higher measures. God gives more than you could have ever bargained for. Get set to get back all that you have lost. It doesn’t matter how impossible the restoration is: God will make it happen.

Get set to receive all that you have lost. Even if you have lost hope, get set to have it back.

Declaration
