When the hand of the Lord came upon Ezekiel, it carried him in the spirit of the Lord, until it brought him to the valley which was filled with dry bones. Eventually, it became the responsibility of Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones so that they can come back to life. So the hand of the Lord that came upon him took him to a place where he had an assignment to accomplish. The hand of the Lord positioned him in the location of his destiny mandate.
Friend, if you ever find yourself in a valley of ‘dry bones’, then it is your responsibility to prophesy until the dry bones come back to life. If you find yourself in an environment where there is dysfunctionality, God took you there so that everything can turn around for good. If you ever find yourself in a family where everything is going wrong and going down, you are God’s messenger to ensure that the story does not remain the same.
Ezekiel was not taken to the valley of dry bones so that he can cry and mourn the death of those men who had already been reduced to bones; God took him there so that the bones can come back to life as an exceeding great army. You didn’t get to your valley of dry bones so that you can cry over the bones. You got there so that you can turn things around. Quit crying over your dry bones and start prophesying until they come back to life.
Life may be more convenient for those who have no valley of dry bones to worry about; but certainly, life is more relevant and remarkably noteworthy for those who succeed in prophesying until their dry bones come back to life. If God has trusted you with a valley of dry bones, then start prophesying. Quit complaining and start praying. Quit mourning and start making proclamations. Quit regretting and start reviving your valley.
Remember, if it is a valley of dry bones, then you only got there to prophesy them back to life. Face your assignment and don’t stop until every dry bone is back to life.
