As the men of war marched round Jericho, the Ark of the Covenant was part of the journey. For six days, they marched round the walls of Jericho, and the Ark was involved; on the seventh day when they marched round for seven times, the Ark was involved. Every movement they made on the way to possessing Jericho involved the Ark. The Ark of the Covenant was symbolic of God’s presence; so Joshua and the men of war moved with God’s presence as they marched into their possession.
Friend, you may not enter into your Jericho without God’s presence. The walls that are standing against you may never fall if God’s presence is not evident and manifest in your life. The doors you want to knock on may never open if God is not present in your life. The levels you desire to attain may not become your reality if you share no intimacy with God; your new season may be elusive if you lose it in the place of God’s presence.
Joshua and the men who marched round Jericho moved with the Ark all the way, and with just a shout, the wall of Jericho came down flat. They stuck with God’s presence, they clung to God, and with very minimal effort, they got a maximum result. As you cling to God, He will cause you to have maximum results from minimal efforts; as you cling to God, your wealthy place will be made manifest without struggles.
Joshua did not move with the Ark on some days and left out the Ark on other days. The Ark was a part of every bit of the journey. Don’t make the mistake of getting God involved in some aspects of your life’s journey, only to leave Him out in other areas. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can exclude God from the areas where you have gained mastery. Don’t leave God behind simply because you have done the journey before.
Remember, Joshua broke into his Jericho as he moved with the Ark; his large place came as he moved about with God’s presence. Move with God’s presence and you will step into your wealthy place.
