Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Isaac waxed great and went forward, and grew until he became very great. Isaac opened a new chapter of greatness, but he didn’t stop there: he went forward. After attaining a first level of greatness, Isaac still went forward. After attaining an initial level of greatness, Isaac made further progress. Isaac did not halt his advancement because he had attained an initial level of greatness. He went forward.
Friend, for every greatness you attain, dare to go forward. Don’t settle for less when you can be more. Don’t allow any level of greatness you have attained to make you lose the appetite for more greatness. Don’t allow any level of greatness you have attained to make you abandon the journey to more greatness. Don’t allow any achievement to become the end of your growth. Don’t allow greatness to halt your future rising.
Isaac waxed great, but after he moved forward and grew, he became very great. His greatness went several notches higher when he went forward and grew. Have you attained some level of greatness yet? Always remember, there is a realm called ‘very great’, and you will only get there is you go forward and grow. You will only move from great to very great if you dare to move forward. Your growth is your pass to more greatness.
It is an error to stop at being great when heaven has commissioned you to be very great. It is an error to be less when you are destined to be more. It is an error to stop growing because you have attained some level of relevance. It is an error for tomorrow to meet you at the same level of competence, relevance, focus, results, influence, etc. you attained in your yesterday. It is an error to stop growing because of greatness.
To every greatness you attain, add more growth to yourself. Keep moving forward. Keep pressing for more. Keep pushing to go higher no matter how high you have already risen. Don’t settle because of greatness.
