In our Focal Scripture, when it was evening time, Jesus told His disciples that it was time to go over to the other side. The day was far spent, night was beckoning, but with the little time left, Jesus was preparing to make one more movement before they day would be completely over. Jesus decided to move as time was moving. Jesus decided to move with the time He had left for the day. He insisted on moving as time moved.
Friend, glean some wisdom: as time is moving, keep moving and don’t stop. With every day that unfolds, ensure that you do not remain where you were as the last day ended. Do not allow time to pass by you without becoming a better person. Do not allow time to pass by you without upgrading your destiny. Do not allow time to pass by you without seeing a new dimension of you. Do not allow time to pass and leave you at the same spot.
Jesus could have decided to waste the evening since night was beckoning, but He chose to make an important movement with the little time left. He was not prepared to let the time lie fallow. Never make the mistake of allowing your time to lie fallow. As time moves, no matter how little the time is, make sure that you have made your own movement. Make sure that you have something to show for every time spent.
Move even if you have excuses. When you succeed more than the time available to you, then you have truly become a success. If you are procrastinating and needlessly postponing what you ought to achieve immediately, you would be the greatest loser in a matter of time. If you are busy excusing your inaction as time passes by, you would look back in the future and see that others have moved on and left you behind.
If you are busy killing time, remember, it will not resurrect. If you are busy letting time pass by without doing anything with it, you are the one that will end up empty handed when the chips are down.
