In our Focal Scripture, God told Samuel to simply call Jesse to the sacrifice, and that thereafter He (God) would show Samuel what to do. So Samuel took his horn of oil and began a journey without having the entire details of his journey. He was simply obeying God, but he didn’t have details of all that would play out in the journey. It was a journey that God orchestrated, he didn’t see all that he should see, but he journeyed nonetheless.
Friend, you may not know the details of your journey with God, but keep moving. You may not know the details of God’s plan for your tomorrow, but keep moving. You may not know how the year will end considering current realities, but keep moving. You may not know what the future holds, but keep moving. You may not know where your help will come from, but keep moving. You may not know what is next, but keep moving. If God is leading you, keep moving.
Keep moving even if policies are not yet aligning with the movement God has empowered you to make. Keep moving in faith even if you are not sure what would happen. Keep moving towards the targets you want to hit, even if you can’t tell whether others succeeded or failed. Keep moving even if it seems nothing will come out of your movement. Keep moving in the direction that God is leading you, even if you don’t have the full picture.
Samuel obeyed God and moved to Bethlehem, and he didn’t leave Bethlehem until he had anointed the next king of Israel. He didn’t have the full picture, but God unveiled the full picture in the course of time. You may not always have the full picture of tomorrow, but God will unveil the full picture of tomorrow in the course of time. You may not know how God plans to lift you, but His plan for your lifting will be fully unveiled in time.
Don’t allow what God is yet to show you, to stop you from moving when He has ordered you to move. The picture of tomorrow may not be full yet, but keep moving.
