Scripture Reading: Acts 27: 41-44, 28: 1-6

Focus

“And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.” (Acts 28: 2)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the barbarous people showed kindness to Paul and his fellow prisoners. The soldiers had considered killing Paul when they suffered a shipwreck. Paul and his fellow prisoners were already in a bad situation, and because of the cold and rain, the barbarous people kindled a fire. Because of their bad situation, kindness was unleashed by the barbarous people. A negative condition created a good situation.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: may the Lord disconnect you from anyone who wants you to die in your bad situation. May the Lord take away every satanic agent that wants to keep you at the same spot. May the Lord take away every strongman that wants to make a mess of your destiny; may the Lord rescue you from the company of those who are poised to consolidate your struggles; may God rescue you from every present negativity.

In place of the soldiers that wanted to kill Saul in his bad situation, God sent the barbarous people who brought kindness to mitigate the bad situation. God sent good men to help Paul out of his bad situation. I pray for you: may God send you good men that will rescue you and help you out of your bad situation. May God send you men that will cause your misfortune to be rolled away. May God send you men to make life easier for you.

God is sending you men who will take you out of stagnation; God is sending you men who will give you financial help; God is sending you men who will open the doors you need opened; God is sending you men who will cause your tears to be wiped away; God is sending you men who will comfort you and keep you far away from the struggles and misfortunes you have been through. God will send you men who will ‘spoil’ you with kindness.

Get set to receive your kind men; get set to be disconnected from the struggles of the past.
