When it was time to go over to the other side, Jesus sent away the multitude, and got into a ship that would carry Him to the other side. Jesus was about to make a movement across the sea, and He went for a ship. There would have been other times when going on foot was appropriate, but this time around, because of where He was going to, He chose a ship. Jesus’ movement needed a ship and He went for a ship.
Friend, at every point in your destiny journey, discern what you need for your next movement. Discern the relationships you need for your next movement. Discern the options that are for you and those that are not for you. Discern the helpers that are for you and those that are not for you. Discern the open doors that are for you and those that are not for you. Discern what you need to pray for and what you need not pray for.
It may have made sense for Jesus to go by foot for some journeys, but this journey needed something different. He wasn’t going to go by foot simply because it made sense for a previous journey. There comes a time when you must drop what does not fit into your new journey. Some old relationships may not be needed for your new season. Some old affiliations may not be needed; some things you are currently available for may not be needed; some battles may not be needed.
Today, I pray for you: may you have the wisdom to discern the things you need for your new season. May you have the wisdom to know when to be in a thing and when to leave it. May you receive wisdom to understand what your times and seasons need per time. May you receive wisdom to embrace the changes you need to make for your movement to the other side. May you receive the courage to make profitable choices.
Don’t be counted amongst men who scuttled their new season journeys by making old season choices. Know what your destiny needs per time, and run with it.
