Live In Your Miracle

14th October 2019

Scripture Reading: 1 Kings 18: 40-46

“And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.” (1 Kings 18: 41)

In our Focal Scripture, Elijah told Ahab to go and eat and drink, because there was a sound of abundance of rain. Israel had been in famine for more than three years; there was yet to be rain; but Elijah called Ahab to go and begin feasting because the story was about to change. Things were still dry, but Ahab was to begin celebrations as though everything had become alright. Ahab was to start living in the miracle that was yet to happen.

Friend, your miracle may not yet have happened, but God says, live in your miracle; live as if your miracle has already happened; celebrate as if your miracle has already become your reality; live in the consciousness that your prayers have been answered; live like one whom heaven has smiled on; live like one for whom doors have been opened; live like one whose rain is about to fall; celebrate divine intervention as if it has happened.

Elijah told Ahab to go and celebrate, and in a matter of time, the miracle that Ahab was waiting for happened. He eventually got what he celebrated. As you celebrate your miracle which is yet to happen, it will soon become your reality; as you live in the consciousness of  that breakthrough you are believing God for, it shall soon become your reality; as you speak of your divine visitation like it already happened, it will happen without delay.

Are there expectations you have that are not in sync with your current realities? God says, live like they have already happened. Start thanking God for the answers to those prayers you have been making; start celebrating your expected miracles; start believing that your desires have become a reality that will manifest soon; live like one whose God calls forth things that be not as though they were.

Remember, if you can live it, you will have it; if you believe it, you will receive it.

I live in the consciousness of my miracle; they will become my reality, in Jesus’ name!
