MEN OF STRENGTH

16th May 2023

Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 17: 1-16

Focus

“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” (1 Kings 17: 4)

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when God told Elijah that He had commanded the ravens to feed him in Brook Cherith. Another major feature of the ravens is that they don’t have a strong beak (lips). So when they see a carcass, they wait for lions and foxes to come and tear the carcass apart, while they come back to distract the other animals and cart away the carcass. Ravens don’t have all the strength and capacity to rip apart every carcass, and they use the help of others.

Friend, God already knows where you are weak; He knows what you cannot achieve by yourself; He knows the terrains you cannot comfortably operate in; He knows the limit of your skills and abilities; He knows the people that will not listen to you on their own accord; He knows the doors and gates you cannot open by yourself; He knows the results that are ordinarily beyond your reach; He knows the limits of your abilities; He knows the carcasses you cannot dismantle all by yourself.

Today, I pray for you: every ‘lion’ that your destiny needs, I decree, let them locate you now. Let the men with the strength you need locate you now. Let the men with the help you need locate you now. Let the men with the contacts and connections you need locate you now. Let the men with the might you need locate you now. Let the men who can help you accomplish what you ordinarily cannot accomplish locate you now.

Today, I decree, may the Lord send you men who have the financial strength you need. May the Lord send you the men who have the resources you need. May the Lord send you men who have the abilities that you need in order to move forward. Any help that you need, may the Lord send men that will make it easy. May the Lord send you help that will make up for your inadequacies. May the Lord send you help that will work in your favour.

Welcome to that season where you may not be strong enough, but you will have men whose strength make up for your weakness. Welcome to that season where you will receive the help that will move you forward.

Declaration

I receive the gift of men with the strength I need, in Jesus’ name!
